Match Day 2013 Results
On Thursday, March 14 residents of the Greater Milwaukee area came together to support organizations that provide food and shelter for individuals and families facing extreme hardship—including Repairers of the Breach.
Match Day, a special 24-hour online event coordinated by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, leveraged community support for 21 nonprofits like ours that serve as a lifeline in our community. We are grateful to have been a part of this community-building event for the second year now.
Last year, our compassionate supporters gave a substantial $42,000 on Match Day. This year, our donors gave even more generously—exceeding $53,000 in gifts on March 14th! Thanks to a match pool of $750,000, each dollar was “proportionately” matched with an extra $.39, s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g every dollar to $1.39. A $100 donation on Match Day this year brought Repairers of the Breach $139! That's a very helpful s-t-r-e-t-c-h!
We reiterate our thanks to all our generous supporters who gave gifts on Match Day 2013.
