Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Epsilon Kappa Omega Chapter at ROTB with center members and staff. We were honored to provide “services to all mankind” on our sorority’s 116th Founders’ Day Celebration (see a video that appeared on WISN TV12 news which includes ROTB) as well as celebrate Dr. King, Jr. Day of Service. The building included AKA members (a sea of pink and green) in large numbers including youth. The day included programming, hot chilies, crackers, snacks, fruits, beverages, a Soul Food luncheon, and desserts! Members of the sorority served the center members at their seats. We could hear members saying “this is so nice, the food is so delicious, the women are so kind, and wow!” The chapter provided all foods, to-go containers, flatware, napkins, cups, coffee, sweetener, creamer, water, and more. The donations included extra products for future usage. The local newspaper photographer was present for coverage of the celebration. Kind regards, Michelle Crockett
