For 16 years, Repairers of the Breach has witnessed daily miracles, as our homeless members and leaders move forward into jobs, housing, family reunification, self-reliance and recovery.
Our daytime shelter truly serves the "least of the least." Generous gifts have helped restore the building's once-grimy brick façade. Now i's time to transform our two unused floors. You can help us add:
- A laundry room
- A women's suite with a bathtub
- A health care center
- A job center focused on preparation and placement
- A communications room, with phones and computers for contacting employers
- A job skills program producing quilts and other products, moving homeless people from the street economy to earning wages
- Space for classrooms, private consultations and quiet meditation

- We do not receive government funding, by choice -- allowing us to serve people in crisis without the hindrance of regulation.
- More than 50% of our total resources are in-kind donations of goods and services from the larger community.
- As a service provider, Repairers of the Breach does the most with the least -- we have no excess in our budget, and our salaries reflect a financially sacrificial philosophy.
- Since we began tracking our allocation of support-service costs in 2001, we have applied 87% to 90% of our organizational resources to our shelter program.
- As careful stewards of our resources, we have never operated at a deficit, and we have passed seven financial audits "with flying colors" -- with no discrepancies.
- All contributions to Repairers of the Breach are tax-deductible under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).

- We gladly accept donations of in-season, gently used men's and women's clothing and footwear for our clothing bank. Our greatest need is for large and/or tall men's and large women's sizes.
