Guest Volunteer Day - Wednesday, October 4, 2017

Volunteers from Alverno College had a great time at the center harvesting the garden, organizing the clothing room, serving lunch, and assisting with clerical tasks. Thank you to all volunteers for dedicating your time to help our homeless community. We are truly blessed to have so many organizations with individuals with big hearts... Thank you so much!

29th Annual Health & Hygiene Drive
April 3 - June 2, 2017

King Park Neighborhood Community Clean-Up
​Saturday, May 6, 2017

Volunteers and staff from Repairers of the Breach, Guest House of Milwaukee, Aurora Health Care, New Concept Self Development Center, Victory New Hope Temple Church, and Milwaukee County Parks - MLK Jr. Community Center cleaned up trash at King Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. Thank you to all of our volunteers who keep our community clean!

MPD Homeless Outreach Team
​Appreciation Breakfast
Thursday, April 25, 2017

Repairers’ staff and volunteers hosted a breakfast to thank members of the MPD Homeless Outreach Team at the MSOE’s Grohmann Museum. Repairers partnered with the Outreach Team to further identify, engage, and support Milwaukee’s homeless community. During our coldest months, these officers brought many homeless to our doors for warmth and sustenance. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to keep our community safe!

​Christmas Eve Lunch

Thank you for your donations to our annual Christmas Eve Lunch hosted at our center. Our volunteers served a delicious holiday menu including hot ham, meatballs, scalloped potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Thank you to our volunteers who brought joy and cheer to our members this holiday season!
