Love Thy Neighbor
From February 1-February 28, 2021... we asked our faith-based partners to help raise money for our 1st Annual Love Thy Neighbor Campaign.
It's our 30th anniversary! As we look back over the years, we are proud of all the friendships and partnerships we've made. However, we realize we can do more. This year, we've decided to invite our faith-based neighbors to participate in an event just for them. "Love Thy Neighbor" instantly came to mind. After all, it's by loving our neighbors that we can fight homelessness, build relationships and camaraderie, and find common ground.
And what better time to to remember to "Love Thy Neighbor" than during February, the month of St Valentine's Day? So, we invited our neighbors to raise money throughout that month however they wanted, whether it be by special collection, or bake sale, or raffle, with the understanding that 100% of those donations go straight to homeless programs.
For our inaugural year, our faith-based friends raised $6,732.05 for the homeless!
